Watering Hole is a water-storage and evaporative cooling system embedded in a pavilion. It comprises an aluminum structural framework containing 160 PET plastic panels inscribed with graduated channels that store and seep water. Collecting rainwater across its surfaces and channeling the water through hydraulic and capillary action to the pavilion's interior surfaces, the Watering Hole produces a cooling effect through entirely passive means.
